Senior Intelligent Vehicle Engineer, Simulation

 

Responsibilities:

1-      This position is responsible for supporting development of autonomous vehicle and ADAS development using simulation technologies. The candidate is expected to have previous experience with similar systems and good understanding of the state-of-the-art in this field.

2-      Creating, implementing simulation methodology used in development and/or validation of autonomous vehicle.

3-      Creating simulation to test/validate autonomous vehicle software.

4-      Creating simulation procedures, plans, requirements, and reports

5-      Analyzing the simulation results to ensure the system performance.

6-      Creating test/simulation data base.

7-      Correlating the test results and simulation results to ensure the validity of the simulation.

 

Requirements:

The candidate should possess a strong interdisciplinary background in engineering with solid programing skills, team work and technical leader capability.

1-      M.S. or equivalent in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, robotics or similar field.

2-      5+  years of experience in controls engineering

3-      5+  years of experience programming in Matlab Simulink

4-      2+ years of compiled languages such C/C++, Java, or Python

5-      2+ years of experience in Vehicle dynamics simulation  or ADAS simulation (ADAMS, CarSim, CarMaker, PreScan)

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

1-      Experience in SW engineering and advanced programing, especially C/C++, Matlab and Simulink.

2-      Knowledge about autonomous driving and ADAS.

3-      Knowledge in real-time programing of embedded platforms, CAN controllers, and positioning systems.

4-      Ability to independently carry out all phases of algorithm development, compile, build, debug, simulation, testing, validation and documentation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1-      Experience with algorithms for: autonomous driving, ADAS, etc. 

2-      Machine learning and artificial intelligence.

3-      Experience with UDP, TCP and other network protocols.

4-      Experience with Linux and /or RTOS

5-      Experience with AUTOSAR is a plus.        

6-      Experience with Dspace tool.

7-      Vector CAN tools
