Job Title:
Automotive Quality Inspection – Group Leader (1st Shift)

Type of Position:
12-month contract position (likely for extension / possible for going direct)

Candidate Requirements:
This position is open to candidates who need certain kinds of sponsorship.  Besides US Citizens and Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders), candidates on CPT, OPT, H1B, and TN visas are permitted.  This position is NOT open to corp2corp, corp2hire, or w2 referral.

Job Location:
Bowling Green, KY

Compensation:
Negotiable (depending on experience, generally $21/hr to $23/hr).  Overtime paid over 40 hours, double-time in certain circumstances, off shift premiums paid.

Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major automotive manufacturer to place an Automotive Quality Inspection – Group Leader (1st Shift).  This position will involve supervising 15-20 employees who are inspecting and repairing vehicles.

Position Duties / Responsibilities:
•    Quality Supervisor of inspection and repair of vehicles.
•    Supervise 15-20 employees
•    Final inspection of vehicles
•    Making final decisions
•    Data collection and reporting
•    Create work instructions
•    Presenting daily to leadership
•    Maintain logistics of vehicle locations
•    Strong verbal communication
•    Detail oriented
•    Highly motivated
•    Open to standing/walking the majority of the day

Qualifications:
•    Knowledge of automotive production processes and procedures
•    Knowledge of basic manufacturing technology
•    Knowledge of scheduling and other management systems
•    High level analytical ability where problems are complex
•    High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, motivate employees and elicit work output
•    Knowledge of quality control procedures
•    Experience supervising employees in a union manufacturing environment
•    Must have a High School Diploma or GED at a minimum

Work Environment:
•    Primarily 1st shift (could carry over at times into other shifts
