JOB SUMMARY: The Test Technician-JLTV Communications will operate, integrate, and test the C4ISR Communications equipment on JLTVs. Will be responsible for transporting JLTV vehicles from the installation location to the testing location to perform tests. Test Technicians will be working in a highly secured work area with limited access to authorized personnel only. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. � Read and interpret Bills of Materials, 2-dimensional prints, electrical schematics, electrical interconnect diagrams, and physical floor plan diagrams. � Operate and test the electronic systems according to the provided engineering data of schematics, interconnect diagrams, and floor plan design. � Conduct final inspection for installation prior to customer acceptance. � Follow the provided detailed test procedure and record the results. � Ensure the highest standards of security per Standard Operating Procedure ( SOP). � Set up, operate, integrate, and commission test support for Command and Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) equipment. Integration includes: mechanical mounting, electrical interconnects and software provisioning. � Troubleshoot and identify root cause for electrical and communication issues with harnesses, cables, software and assemblies to determine a corrective action of repair, replace, or reprogram. � Collaborate with C4ISR engineers to identify, define, and resolve issues that are identified during installation and commissioning tests. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: � Associate�s degree with one (1) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. � Must be able to obtain security clearance. � Required to attend a Communications Security (COMSEC) briefing at the time of entry into the position as required going forward.  MUST have either A+, Net+ or Sec+ credentials. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: � Bachelor�s degree with three (3) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. � Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 25U/25B qualified. � Experience with military communication systems. � Possess a strong electrical knowledge of related C4 electronics systems and vehicle systems. Direct experience with installation and maintenance of Military Standard (MIL-STD) 38999 and RF Connectors assemblies.
