HRU has teamed up with a local leader in turn key automation solutions and is looking for a CNC Machinist Leader! This position is a direct hire role! Qualified candidates must have a HS Diploma/GED, CNC training and 5+ years experience. Pay will begin at $27/hr.+ depending on experience. Apply today!
The CNC Machinist fills the critical role of bringing designs to life in production. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines, maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, maintain equipment and supplies.
· Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school
· High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
· Minimum 3-5 years in a CNC position that included setup, programming and operation.
· Minimum 5 years in a machine shop / job shop environment.
· Experience with HAAS mills preferred but not required.
· Experience with SolidWorks / SolidCam preferred but not required.
