HRU has teamed up with an industry leader in the defense sector and is looking for a Configuration Analyst! Great opportunity to join a company with room to grow! This position will start as a 6-month contract with likely extension, benefits are available and pay rate is set at $30.50/hr. This role will run on 9/80 schedule.
Responsible for performing configuration control over assigned programs, performing internal Configuration Management (CM) audits, preparing Configuration reports and CM contractual data packages.
Oversees and manages Engineering Change workflows, ensure released package integrity, maintains/ensures integrity of CM databases and assists with preparing and conducting Configuration Audits
and work package artifacts. Acts as liaisons with project CCBs to ensure conformance with established CM procedures and obtains feedback for continuous CM improvement.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to verbally
and accurately report production status to team. Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) Customer service and teamwork attitude. (Preferred skills) Ability to analyze and react to exceptions in ERP,
especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, and Engineering change Request and Orders. Ability to interpret military and industry specifications to conform to customer requirements.
Wind-chill PDM software Experience in Aviation Military programs Experience on managing FAA certifications. Experience in Data Management.
Experience working in an Engineering Development and/or Production/Manufacturing environment with change and controlled design and build documentation and changes. Knowledge and experience
working in Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software systems Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry & regulations Working knowledge and experience
of Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) software systems, the generation and management of Item Masters and Bill of Materials. (Preferred experience) 3 years’ experience working in an
Engineering Development and/or Production environment controlling design and build documentation/changes. 3 years’ experience working in an Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) software systems,
the generation and management of Item Masters and Bill of Materials.
High School Diploma - AA or bachelor’s heavily preferred!
