This role provides document control expertise to large capital projects and will ensure document management consistency across all North American large capital projects by maintaining control and traceability of the documentation from project initiation throughout completion. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

o Developing the Document Control Plan for the defined scope on multiple large capital projects 
o Establishing and maintaining the Master Document Register and project repository. (i.e. project records) 
o Ensuring efficient flow of documentation, handover, and close-out of project activities to ensure consistency in document control 
o Ensuring vendor and supplier’s documentation compliance with project standards regarding numbering, contractual obligations, and all other’s aspects related to document control 
o Providing over-due reports, auditing, and other information on an as needed basis to help evaluate the process performance and assess compliance 
o Protecting the confidentiality and integrity of intellectual property 

• BS degree in related technical or administrative discipline and 5 years of professional experience in document control (or related experience) for capital projects 
• High School Diploma and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in document control (or related experience) for capital projects 

• Excellent knowledge in document control and management processes and standards 
• Experience with the execution of large capital projects ($20 million) required 
• Demonstrated strong collaboration, facilitation, and teamwork skills 
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
