Job Location:
Seeking candidates from the greater Columbus, OH area. You will need to be willing to relocate to South Carolina. Relocation is required and will cover $10K for renters and $25K for home owners (to be paid in a lump sum).

Negotiable (Depending on experience) – Overtime is paid over 40 hours

Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a global automotive manufacturer to place an Equipment Maintenance Technician.  This role will oversee equipment modifications for process changes, new vehicle models, and expansions.  Candidates will troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify automotive manufacturing and test equipment; to improve systems up-time and reliability.  You will maintain and update all process documentation.  You Must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to employ safe work practices.

Education / Experience:
•    Associates Degree (or higher) in a technical manufacturing discipline and 2 years of automation/PLC controls with industrial maintenance, mechanical, electronic systems & PC controls
For All Candidates:
•    Must be a highly flexible individual that can adjust to changes quickly. Must be willing to work overtime and holidays as needed.
•    Successful candidates must pass a computer-based technical knowledge assessment and a hands-on electrical troubleshooting proficiency test working with live current.
Preferred Experience:
•    Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of closed-loop servo systems
•    Experience in design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of sequential processes
•    Experience working with high level programming languages
•    Experience in interfacing controls, processes and feedback devices
•    Experience in Human/Machine interface devices and associated software
•    Experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of AC variable frequency drives
•    3+ years of hands on experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
    o    Three-phase power
    o    Pneumatic controls
    o    Siemens PLC S7 experience

Work Environment:
•    Primarily night shift position
