Job Title:
HR Coordinator / Receptionist (Bilingual Spanish)

Type of Position:
6-month contract position initially (likely to be extended, possible to go direct hire)

Candidate Requirements:
This position is ONLY open to candidates who are US Citizens and Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders).  Candidates on CPT, OPT, H1B, and TN visas are NOT permitted.  This position is NOT open to corp2corp, corp2hire, or w2 referral.

Job Location:

$20/hr to $22/hr (overtime paid over 40 hours)

Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major emergency vehicle manufacturer to place an HR Coordinator / Receptionist (Bilingual Spanish).  In this role you will perform various administrative duties for one or more managers (mostly in the Graphics and Engineering departments) and use established office procedures to perform the necessary job functions required.  You will also greet visitors and process visitor badges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Handle, type, and process complex and confidential material
•    Review outgoing material and correspondence for accuracy and format. Originate letters and memos using independent judgment and initiative. Prepare reports and special projects as directed. Compile reports by entering and retrieving data from multiple systems and resources
•    Screen telephone calls, visitors and incoming correspondence
•    Schedule conferences and meetings. Assemble the materials needed for these conferences and meetings. Taking minutes for the meetings and reporting on the meetings may be required.
•    Organize and maintain files. Coordinate records for file director scanning.
•    Order office supplies and maintain office supply inventory
•    Manage on-site badge process (issue new badges, send daily reports)
•    Daily contact with customers, service providers, executives, senior managers, etc. (in person, via telephone, e-mail or fax)
•    Prepare invoices for payment
•    Update company communication boards (print and electronic)
•    Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
•    High School diploma or GED (this will be verified)
•    Some knowledge speaking / reading Spanish
•    1 plus years related HR experience
•    Working knowledge of computer software (i.e. Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), etc.; Adobe Acrobat; Internet search tools; Mail merge

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Associate’s degree in administrative assistant or related field preferred
•    Workday experience preferred
•    Kronos experience helpful
•    Ability to exercise independent judgment while handling multiple tasks
•    Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is HIGHLY preferred
•    Proficient grammar and proofreading skills
•    Excellent customer service and communication skills

Work Environment:
•    1st / day shift, generally 8am to 4pm.  Monday through Friday.
