We here at HRU Technical Resources have partnered with an industry leader in creating chemistry for a sustainable future to find a Human Resources Specialist in Research Triangle Park, NC.
The Human Resources Specialist will serve as a coordinator to support the Global Seeds HR Team with numerous HR coordination projects and follow up activities. Core objectives will initially be targeted at aligning the talent and organizational structure of the global business. This includes obtaining data from various sources as well as ensuring job descriptions are reviewed, aligned and fit the organizational needs. The Human Resources Specialist will also ensure positions are posted as needed and organizational charts are accurate and current. The incumbent will also work with regional/global teams to ensure alignment with processes/communications on numerous projects.
Serve as a point of contact to capture requests for org changes with business (manager change, cost center change, title change, etc.). Prefer manager not go direct yet to MyHR as it is important to map back to the R&D TOM strategy, determine whether there is a systemic issue, and/or highlight changes that may need jobs to be posted, etc.
This person would be the one to capture and submit to MyHR and track to ensure changes are made
Ability to use the software to keep the org charts updated in a usable electronic version
Handles the formatting and tracking of STRATA submissions with the managers, particularly for the US. Answers questions and filters those higher level to HRBP/Suzanne
Assist with the rollout/communications of the strata levels/comms by end of year
Point person for MyHR to get positions posted (i.e. coordinates getting position numbers and keeping up with status of requisitions)
Handles all logistical Immigration topics directly (coordination of required job postings, getting approvals for visa processing, etc.)
Responsible for “tactical” spreadsheet merging of leader responses etc.
Assist with getting the reports we need from around the world – reaching out to the contacts in the regions/countries to get the monthly/quarterly needed reports and the consolidate them for us
Project coordinator to help mid-level leaders with developing consistency in job descriptions.
Tracking and reporting to me those looking to do “career ladder” promotions via submission of revised JD’s
Help with capturing HR questions/needs for mid-level and front-line managers….attend and/or set up pulse checks with this group and capture feedback/actions requested
All admin work associated with setting up talent reviews that won’t be covered by Talent Solutions (lower levels of org/global coordination). This would include spreadsheet administration, training on system use, setting agendas/calendars for reviews
• Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• 2-3 years of HR administration experience especially in the areas of organizational management and compensation
• Excel and PowerPoint experience a must. Must be computer savvy with multiple platforms and systems related to HR and have the ability to quickly learn new systems/processes via software tools.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills, preferable with leaders and across different regions/countries
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills to synergize with local and global audience
• Ability to manage competing projects, calendars, deadlines, and priorities
