HRU has teamed up with a major automotive manufacturer and is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor! This position is a 12 month contract. Pay for this role begins at $25/hr. and full benefits are available. MUST be flexible to work any shift.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
-Meet production, cost and quality requirements of the customer
-Lead production and operations personnel
-Interact with support organizations to ensure resolution of mfg. Issues
-Administer local & national labor agreements
-Advance competitive strategies and lean manufacturing initiatives
-4 year degree in technical or business field (or equivalent experience-required)
(Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Eng., Org. leadership, Business Admin curriculum-Pref.)
-Strong desire to work in a team-based, progressive manufacturing setting (Req.)
-Strong interpersonal & communication skills (Req.)
-Documented leadership &/or team-oriented work experience (Req.)
-Well developed analytical ability / organizational skills (Req.)
-Demonstrated potential for upward mobility &/or leadership roles (Req.)
-Flexibility in terms of both shift-work and overtime (Req.)
-Previous supervisory experience with organized labor (Pref)
-Familiarity &/or application of Lean Manufacturing theory (Pref)
-Strong familiarity with Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Access) (Pref)
Must be willing to work any assigned shift, work daily, weekend, and holiday overtime as required
