Job Description

This position is responsible for managing Volkswagen Aftersales events (including major After Sales conferences), Field and Dealer Aftersales communications as well as Accessory and Life Style Marketing. 


Role responsibilities 

·         Events: 

o   Project Management - Plan, Organize, and Coordinate the National Parts and Service Managers meeting working in conjunction with Travel& Events dept. 

o   Plan, Organize and Coordinate Aftersales team events and meetings 

o   Plan, Organize and coordinate Regional Aftersales incentive trips/meetings 

o   Facilitate the coordination and support of cross departmental meetings and events at the National, Regional and Local levels 

o   Responsible for the creative, budgeting, communication, planning and logistical elements of successful event production 

·         Communications: 

o   Develop, plan and implement weekly and monthly Field and Dealer communication 

o   Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports and communications as directed 

o   Facilitate the annual Carlisle Service & Parts Managers Satisfaction Survey (PMSS) communication process from stakeholders’ meetings, to field training, to ongoing dealer and field communication 

o   Develop field operations team training materials for in-dealer support to improve Parts and Service Managers Satisfaction 

o   Present key business initiatives during periodic webinars to Volkswagen field team 

o   Prepare and develop executive level presentations and reports for upper management 

o   Maintain and updated After Sales files and folders on the Hub 

o   Maintains and updates After Sales files and folders in VINNIE 

o   Maintain and distribute Corporate Aftersales Directory 

·         Accessory and Lifestyle Marketing 

o   Support corporate growth & revenue objectives for accessories and lifestyle collection 

o   Support creative development, advertising, marketing surveys, in-dealership and online promotions, point-of-sale, press releases, SEMA presence, etc. 

o   Support and communicate with Regional staff to create and implement After Sales initiatives and special initiatives/events 

o   Prepare business plans to support marketing initiatives and manage budgets for on-going projects 

o   Support accessory sales in eCommerce platform into tier I, tier II, and tier III sites 

o   Oversee accessory and lifestyle public-facing websites and content – i.e. integration of content into dealer websites, internally-hosted vs. brand-hosted 

o   Perform appropriate analysis of e-commerce opportunities, competition and results 

o   Manage assigned budget while consistently seeking revenue and cost optimization 

o   Work across marketing department and internal groups to ensure accessories collection is well represented 

o   Assist with the development of accessory social media content 

o   Manage & track performance KPI metrics 


Required qualifications 

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred – significant relevant experience considered 

·         Skilled in executive level presentation development primarily using Power Point 

·         Skilled in data analytics and spreadsheet preparation & development using Excel 

·         Strong communications skills both verbal and written 

·         Strong computer skills; primarily but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point 

·         Computer savvy; skilled with and possessing the ability to learn proprietary systems and software 

·         3-5 years relevant professional experience 

·         Ability to work flexible and extended hours as work load requires 

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously 

·         25% - 35% travel required

This position reports to the Director of Parts & Accessory Sales with day to day management direction from the Senior Manager for Service & Parts marketing.
