Position Description

The Release Coordinator will be part of a fast-paced program team environment, proactively facilitating timely release of design drawings, and preparing Engineering Order Requests (EOR) for parts to support the development of new Combat Ground Vehicles. This candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with other team members on a time sensitive program. This individual will work directly with the program engineering team and other stakeholders and report indirectly to the Configuration Data Management (CDM) Product Development Team Lead. The individual is required to have an understanding and sense of ownership of key details that are required to drive actions across the cross-functional distribute program team to support procurement and assembly. The Release Coordinator is required to work second shift hours Eastern Time zone to support program engineering team located in California. Responsibilities Facilitate all part revision changes and updates for the Engineering Data Management & Information Tool (DMIT) Engineering Order Requests (EOR) processed using the Enterprise PDM workflow. Create Change objects, update EORs and manage the EPDM workflows that are impacted by Floor Changes. Update EORs with part and quantity changes in support of Engineering Serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for all EOR updates and part revisions. Update DMIT BOMs for part and quantities and for procurement notes in support of Engineering Update and maintain DMIT from reports from enterprise tools. Generate, modify, and upload reports from PDM change workflow, EOR workflow and reports from other sources to prepare the data for upload. Support the program Working Group Tiger Team meetings to prioritize work in support of production Prepare EOR Reports and meeting agenda Proactively engage with designated team members assigning actions to resolve backlog of EORs and manufacturing change notices (MCN) issues Support Program Engineering with Integrated Engineering Release Schedule (IERS) data.

Skills Required

Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel Hardware Configuration Management, Release Management, Change Management, Part Procurement skills in a PDM environment

Soft skills in facilitating teleconference meetings, with an understanding of how to build consensus

Experience Required

 Experience and knowledge of Hardware Configuration Management (CM), including Release Management, Change Management, and Configuration Status Accounting relevant to vehicles • Experience of Hardware Configuration Management using industry standard PDM tools and workflows. • Prior experience with Prototype development and build for vehicles • Prior experience with Part procurement and tracking • Experience in facilitating meetings, with the ability to build consensus • Experience working with a distributed program team located across time zones using teleconference tools

Experienced Preferred

1. Prior experience with Prototype development and build for vehicles 2. Prior experience with Part procurement and tracking 3. Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel 4. Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
