Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to: Drive adherence to Sourcing processes and system requirements, work with buyers to maintain, update, measure and improve supplier/vendor database, material data and related transaction information, work with all transactional aspects of the Procure-to-Pay process which includes requisition processing, purchase order changes, purchase order acknowledgements, and resolving invoice match exceptions for specific commodities within the Corporate Sourcing Operations group. Identifies problems and gaps, and recommends solutions for compliance to internal procure to pay business rules and SOX controls. Complies with Corporate Policy and Procedures and acts in a manner consistent with the Company's values and ethical standards.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working with suppliers, requestors, commodity specialists, and other sourcing teams. Provide support and collaboration in a fast-paced, team environment, and works under limited supervision.
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of one (1) year experience in procurement and/or sourcing transaction processing
Strong computer skills in business software (e.g. Microsoft Word & Excel, Lotus Notes) as well as ERP applications (e.g. PeopleSoft or SAP)
Excellent interpersonal skills and be client focused
Experience working in a fast paced high volume work environment including phones, instant messaging, and e-mail.
Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
Highly inquisitive, intuitive and will have a strong analytical background
Able to operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
