Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Free Trade Agreements, NAFTA, KORUS, and Duty Drawback programs in an automotive manufacturing environment.
¨ Coordinate and oversee NAFTA Compliance (Rule of Origin), KORUS, and Duty Drawback programs in accordance with applicable federal Customs regulations.
¨ Coordinate with outside suppliers to obtain correct information for NAFTA, KORUS, Duty Drawback, and international logistics, and packing cost.
¨ Analyze RVC (Regional Value Content) for exported vehicles and develop sourcing plan. Creating Certificate of origin and utilizing SAP for related NAFTA Data.
¨ Respond to all Customs request for information and adhere to all Customs rules for Free Trade Agreements.
¨ Analyze, review, and ensure Customs Compliance for all Free Trade Agreements.
¨ Supervise personnel performing NAFTA, KORUS, Duty Drawback programs and activities.
¨ Manage and oversee reports and relevant policies for Global Sourcing, NAFTA, KORUS, and Duty Drawback Program.
¨ Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
¨ Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
¨ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
¨ Advanced degree preferred
¨ 10 – 15 years job related experience preferred
¨ Prior NAFTA Customs compliance experience
Skills / Knowledge
¨ SAP desired
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
