Electronic and Electrical (E/E) Senior System Architect 

Job Summary

As an experienced automotive E/E System Senior Architect you will direct an international team to take the most significant architectural decision in a large-scale embedded product development, especially for Connected Autonomous Vehicle. You are expected to have depth of knowledge of specified technological area, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, Methodologies, standards, products and frameworks related to next generation EE architecture.

You will be able to concept and deliver your own designs and introduce your own ideas. This is a role that will push you to develop your engineering capability with a major influence on the product with direct input into the design of Vehicle EE System Architecture, offering a great opportunity of personal and technical development.

Job Responsibilities

  • You'll be expected to shape the future of our EE architecture in various domains, such as ADAS, Chassis Control, HMI/UX and Body systems, vehicle connectivity, etc. with exposure to a variety of systems and platforms across programs;
  • You'll lead the design and implementation of the whole-vehicle EE architecture, systems interaction, distributed functionality, capturing non-functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals. You should provide technical leadership to project team to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.
  • The work involves cutting-edge EE platform technologies, with a wide and complex scope touching optimization, robust design, functional safety, feature decomposition, network communication, diagnostics, cyber security etc.

Job Specification

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Automotive Engineering required. Ph.D. degree preferred.
  • 8 + years’ experience of working at OEM or Tier 1 or 2 suppliers on EE system design and experience in practical application of vehicle EE system, particularly related to ADAS domain.
  • Knowledge of automotive network protocols, e.g. CAN, LIN, CAN-FD, Ethernet.
  • Good understanding of vehicle level system integration in terms of hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems, including circuit design, wiring harnesses, and power distribution.
  • Knowledge of embedded diagnostics, functional safety, cyber security, system engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Autosar.
  • Experience in EE Architecture design and analysis software tools, e.g. DOORS, IBM Rational Rhapsody, PREEvision, EA,Matlab, CANoe, CANdela etc.
  • Deep passion about Automotive EE Architectures and Electronic Controls Systems.
  • High self-motivation, willingness to learn and develop.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player.

Direct Hire

Target Pay Range: 120 - 200k (DOE) plus strong benefits package
