Telecom (Wireline) Inventory Coordinator

Type of Position:
Contract – 6 months (likely for extension / possible going direct)

Compensation:
$20.55/hr (overtime paid over 40 hours)

Job Description:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a global chemical company to place a Telecom (Wireline) Inventory Coordinator.  This position will be at our client's Florham Park location to help the Operational Vendor Management for Wireline services in reviewing current setups, analyzing use cases, review features, and doing some telecom wireline account reviews together with people from local sites.  This will include both corporate sites and home office setups with the goal of improving efficiency and cost.  Candidates with both technical and coordinator experience are desired.

Responsibilities:
•    Maintaining central inventory list and creating data buckets based on different categories
•    Coordinating site analysis of telecom wireline services and documenting results
•    Working with people from 150 site locations to analyze and record wireline inventory and circuit use.
•    Working with external vendors for ordering and changing telecom wireline services

Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
•    Experience in working with voice, video and internet services and respective providers
•    Knowledge of the wireline products and services being provided by telecom vendors
•    Telecom market knowledge and understanding
•    Telecommunications wire line familiarity a plus
Personal Skills:
•    Ability to understand and organize data in Excel spreadsheets
•    Excellent communication skills with coworkers and vendors
•    Strong administrative skills
•    Intermediate level of Microsoft Outlook Mail, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability
•    Time management skills
•    Working as part of a team, have experience in a business environment as a team player
•    Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Handle multiple topics, with interruptions and escalations during the business day, organized to track each task in an organized way to minimize mistakes

Work Environment / Other Info:
•    1st (day) shift position
