Effectively maintain several POU (Point of Use) storage locations throughout a manufacturing facility. Optimize material flow through the entire process focused on support for the customer. Kanban scanning. Stocking shelves. Continuously improve area of responsibility and strive for complete customer satisfaction. Perform administrative type functions and customer support to assist the site in reducing procurement costs, generating cost savings, and engaging in effective customer relationship-building activities.

  • Performs duties with limited supervision following established procedures and deadlines.
  • Interacts with suppliers to insure they are providing adequate service to our customer.
  • Assures all deliveries are secured and put away in the proper location. Spot Buys are delivered to the requestor. Works with customer to identify all items and locate them in the proper place.
  • Be qualified to operate necessary customer systems to perform job functions (i.e. SAP, Maximo, Word and Excel). Training provided by customer.
  • Maintain multiple clean, safe, organized cribs/POUs and surrounding areas. Dusting, sweeping and light trash removal.
  • Perform Cycle Counting Activities of Crib and POU (Point of Use) Locations.
  • Maintaining, optimization and restocking of POU (Point of Use) locations throughout plant.
  • Contribute to periodic Inventory Activities on site and elsewhere within company as needed / requested.
  • Keep Site Manager apprised of matters resolved (and how handled) and of matters requiring Site Manager’s attention. Relay messages from Site Manager to customer representatives.
  • Maintain all Bin Labeling and organization.
  • Scan all disbursements and use tools available for restocking and follow up.
  • Compile and type lists and records, statistical reports, and other information.
  • Help Maintain site office equipment and supplies.
  • Proper use of general hand tools. Other tasks/duties as required.
  • Education of product to be able to assist customer with technical support needs. (Training will be provided by Ideal Setech and Suppliers.)
  • Take part in weekly Safety Tour of work area


  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written a must.
  • Knowledge of general hardware items: fasteners, plumbing, motors, hand tools, automotive, is a plus


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year of clerical experience.
  • Must have at least basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows 7.


2nd shift - 3pm - 11:30pm
